Recent technological developments have made the implementation of touchless interfaces and interactive solutions based on body gestures more affordable. However, the opportunity to exploit these systems to promote the independence of patients with reduced mobility in accessing information systems, and therefore in terms of tertiary prevention, still seems far from being perceived as concrete and feasible.
